Try this before you read the rest of this post.

Open your POS, booking system, store or CRM. Pull every customer who hasn't bought from you in the last 6 months. (Adjust that window to your normal buying cycle.)

Count them. Multiply by your average order or job value.

That number is revenue sitting in your database.

These people already know you. They already trust you. They've already handed you their credit card once. Yet most businesses spend almost everything chasing strangers and almost nothing bringing these people back.

The two leaks this agent fixes

Leak #1: Dormant customers. Nobody reminds them it's time to rebook, reorder or come back. So they drift, or a competitor's ad catches them first.

Leak #2: Unasked reviews. Happy customers would leave a review, but nobody asks at the right moment. For local and multi-location businesses, reviews affect how you show up in local search and whether a stranger picks you over the place next door.

What a reactivation and reviews agent does

  • It segments your list: dormant 6+ months, bought once and never returned, high-value customers

  • It sends personal win-back messages by text and email with a real reason to come back

  • It reminds customers when it's time to rebook or reorder (service intervals, refills, seasonal needs)

  • It asks for a review right after a completed job, a great visit or a delivery

  • It routes unhappy customers to you privately so you can fix the problem

  • It drafts responses to new reviews for you to approve

Simple setup path

  1. Export your customer list with last purchase date and what each person bought.

  2. Pick your platform. Review and reputation tools (Podium, Birdeye, NiceJob and others) handle review requests and messaging for local businesses. E-commerce brands often use Klaviyo or similar for win-back flows. Many CRMs do both.

  3. Write a real win-back offer. Give people a reason to return: a seasonal check-up, a returning-customer bonus, a new service, early access. Use AI to draft 3 versions and test them.

  4. Automate the review ask. Send it within 24 hours of a completed job or visit (a few days after delivery for shipped products). Keep it short, with a direct link to your Google Business Profile.

  5. Stay compliant. Texting has consent rules. In the U.S., that means TCPA and carrier registration requirements. Only message people who've opted in, and check the rules for your market.

What a good win-back message looks like

Short. Personal. Specific. One clear reason to act.

Skip "We miss you!" and give them something real: a reminder that it's been a while since their last service, a seasonal reason it matters now and an easy way to book.

Use AI to draft it, then read it out loud. If it sounds like a corporation, rewrite it until it sounds like you.

Why this agent pays so fast

You aren't paying for clicks. You aren't paying for leads. You're talking to people who already said yes once.

That's why I usually recommend building this agent second, right after speed-to-lead.

Your move this week

Send one simple message to every customer who hasn't bought in 6 months, with one clear reason to come back. Then set up an automatic review request for every completed job or order going forward.
